    Hi,

Does anyone know if the Razer Blade (14 inch) 2013 model could work with such a monitor ? I might get one but I want to know if it would work with it first... http://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/accessories-88342--1/hp-envy-34c-34-inch-media-display

    It is a 34 inch 3440 x 1440 display with 21:9 aspect ratio.

I read somewhere that the Blade only supports up to 1440p (in a 16:9 ratio that would be 2560x1440) but some say 4k is fine.

It would not be for gaming/video editing of course but mainly files/web browsing, watching videos etc...

As a main (and only) monitor, would it work ? Looking forward to your answer !

Unless the physical HDMI connection limits it at 2560, it should be more than adequate to drive a 21:9 2k screen. I don't THINK the HDMI port should limit it.

At least I know my 2015 drives my 24" dell...

[PS, At the time of this posting, Newegg has a samsung Curved 34" display on sale for $699. . JUST IN CASE you're open to quality lower priced alternatives...
