I currently have the 2060 Mercury white version with 512GB SSD. MY question hence the title, is the 2070 Max-Q version better than the 2060 non max-q taking performance and longevity into account. Is it worth going with the 2070 MaxQ, I want to stay with mercury white because I have fingerprint OCD with the black...

I did some research online and found the 2060 has a higher base clock and boost than the 2070, even the 2080 max-q variants, minus the RTX TOPS which were higher in the 2070/2080.
