    Hey guys,

I just received my beautiful blade today and am looking for a sleeve to protect it.

I have bought the Samsung 9Series 15" sleeve (BS3N14B/E) as it has the closest dimensions to the blade that I could find.
I am still to receive the sleeve, but as soon as I do, I will report here to see how it fits.

Has anyone find anything good for the laptop though?

    Thanks!

Can you post your CPU/GPU idle and load temps while playing a video game?

    Thanks!

    @mario64,

Yes I understand that, but I want to see what his temperatures are at specifically to his unit

Let me know how that sleeve fits. Razer has a 14" one coming, but when I was attempting to put it in my cart it was only spitting out error messages. Apparently they don't have any in stock, not sure why it's even showing up on the web then. Definitely going to need a neoprene sleeve to protect the Blade!

Interested in this as well. Someone mentioned the Samsung Series 9 15" leather sleeve but I'm more interested in one without a flap (either zip up or slide in)

I just got the sleeve yesterday.

It is slightly bigger than the laptop, prob a cm wider that it should, but it's fine.
It isn't the best case ever...not even close. I really don't like the top, it doesn't have any magnet or anything to keep it closed.

I don't know if I should recommend this or not but, due to the fact that I couldn't find anything suitable for my precious Blade, I will have to keep using this.

    Has anyone else find anything?

Sad to hear that. Yeah I'm not a fan of a case with a flap like that, especially considering it has no magnets. I think a nice neoprene case would be more appropriate. Wish razer would make one for the 14" blade..

the blade will fit in "any" 14" bag, case, sleeve. I have bought 2 different ones - i couldn't decide which so bought both, and they both fit nicely.

Hey zero, just saw your review, it was amazing! Thanks for that.

Would you by any chance be able to post a quick video or pictures with the two cases you bought, as well as recommend which one to buy?

I'm thinking the razer 14" sleeve from eBay but the giant logo is kind of tacky..I would like a much more subtle centered one instead

Zero, also wanted to say thanks for the video, and echo the request for a short video about the cases. I want to find one that fits well, if possible before the laptop has been here for too long.

I've been looking around and this is the list I have so far for cases in order of preference:

    Samsonite Aramon NXT 14" - $16
Razer Blade 14 "unofficial" Sleeve - $35 (on eBay)
    Case Logic PLS-14 Sleeve - $18
    Case Logic LAPS-114 Sleeve - $14
Case Logic MacBook Air Sleeve - $35
    Samsung Series 9 15" Leather Sleeve - $35

Besides the unofficial one, all others can be found on Amazon. Thoughts? The Samsonite one looks very good but I want a tight fitting one for the blade dimensions: 13.58" x 9.25" x 0.66"

Thanks for the response, just ordered one! $40 feels a little high but hopefully it is of good material compared to the other neoprene sleeves. You ordered vertical sleeve one, not the horizontal one that's on the web page correct?

I ordered the exact one that shows up when I clicked the link you sent me. You will not regret it! The elastic band stays right on the second usb port from the ac jack. Setup your bios to enable off charging the usb port and you can even recharge your mobile on the go by just moving the elastic band... The sleeve was made for the Blade, it fits just perfect!

Does the ACME sleeve have a zipper? Or is it only the elastic band? If so, how protective is it if the top is not fully closed by a zipper?

I believe it's only an elastic band but the laptop fits snug so it won't fall out either way (according to a YouTube review).

I chose that case but was debating between the ones below.

    Razer Blade Dimensions
    13.58" x 9.25" x 0.66"

    Case Logic PLS-14 Sleeve - $18
    13.5" x 10.1" x 1.5"
    Case Logic LAPS-114 Sleeve - $14
    13.5" x 9.7" x 1.7"
    Case Logic PAS-215 Sleeve - $35
    14.4" x 9.9" x 1.0"
    Case Logic LHS-115 Sleeve - $45
    14.3" x 9.8" x 0.9"

Are you sure that all of these will fit the Blade? Just concerned about snugness. I just had to return a gorgeous Brookstone one made to fit an MBA 13 because it was too small. :(

I wasn't sure that's why I went ahead and ordered the one apolopes has. Also why I included size dimensions next to the cases..I would recommend against any cases marketed for the Air 13" (like the last one in the list, the NXT 13") since it either will be super snug (nice) or not fit at all (not nice). Only testing from other users will return verifiable results. I tried comparing reviews for people who said it was a good fit for certain model laptops (like the NXT 14 for Sony VAIO S series) but it seems to more variable than Blade owners themselves verifying size and fit. And sleeves in the >14" length range might be a bit loose, so I'm sticking with the ACME Made one for now.

I was going to order the Aramon NXT 14" since it also comes with free returns and is under $20 so if anyone is looking to try that out, I would say it's a good first bet. I personally like zipper less sleeves so that's why I didn't order to try it. The LAPS-114 is already confirmed to be slightly short in width (some guy in the other thread used a foam cut out in the back to make up for it) but it seems like a good sleeve otherwise

The Acme 14" looks really nice, the only thing I'm worried about is how it isn't fully closed. What's the point of the waterproof neoprene if there is a gaping entrance?

Hey, I actually decided to get it on Amazon and it arrived today. The Acme case feels really nice and it's a nice fit, however the only problem is that the sleeve doesn't completely cover the laptop. There is some slight exposure of the RB 14" on the side of the laptop; if you're ok with that, then it's a great case. I might look into other cases but if I can't find one this will probably be the one I stick with.

    Sorry for the sideways perspective.

EDIT : If I can get a return on Amazon for this one I might try out the 15" version of the Acme. Then again there would probably be too much room in the case. Bleh, I dunno I really like the look and feel of the Acme.

I cancelled my order, I didn't want a sleeve that cost $40 that didn't fit perfectly. I liked the vertical orientation but the band doesn't lie flush on the cut out like it should so I'm still searching...do you think the 15" might be a good bet? I want a perfect fitting case! On the other hand, I can't find the vertical orientation 15" version.

Do you guys know any good vertical sleeves, preferably slim fitting, that might be better suited? The 13" Macbook Pro is only 12.78" long, so most cases will fall short of the Blade's 13.58" length.

The MacBook Pro 13 inch fits like a champ. The neoprene is thick. But it slides in fine and its snug.

Really? Any pics very much appreciated! I'm thinking of getting the Neoprene Pro, or the Slim one as that would fit better in my bag. I might stop by the apple store as well and see what else they have

That might take a month or two more and I need one for school

EDIT: Just saw a video for the sleeve, and I'm curious as to how it's fitting like a champ. This guy had trouble putting it in and that was with a Macbook Pro (12.78" x 8.94" x 0.95") when the laptop had a hardshell on it (which shouldn't add more than 0.2" to the length). The width (9.28" of Blade vs 8.94" of MBP seems fine but I'm worried the length (13.58" vs 12.78") is a little off. Unless these dimensions don't really matter for STRETCHABLE(?) neoprene sleeves...in which case I'm thinking about this whole thing the wrong way LOL

Its stretchable. The Razer fits in just like when he put the macbook in with the hardshell. Its a little tighter. But its smooth to slide in. you will have to zip the zippers up from the sides to the middle though.

I have tried numerous sleeves. I am using for the moment a CaseCrown sleeve that has Velcro and a pocket for an ipad to boot! But it is too big for the Razer. Still smarting from the Brookstone buy. I wish that 13" sleeve had fit!
