The Lenovo is currently 1299$ ... the Blade with 256gb ssd is 1999$.

How portable is the lenovo vs the blade ?

Y510p can be had for much cheaper price, and they're not comparable.

One is thick, heavy and very ugly while the other is MacBook-esque with a thin light profile. If you value MacBook aesthetics and style, get the Blade. But it is twice the price so know that. Also, is rather have a 765M than the SLI solution on the Lenovo.

    simple answer

They dont compete with each other, in terms of price, mobility, build quality and hassle

plan your purchase according to each

750M SLI is 10% faster than the 765M so as I said, if you don't care about mobility, style, quality or hassle, get the Lenovo for $999 at micro center.

Good choice, the quality of the budget lenovo gaming laptops do not compare. Between poor battery life, terrible touchpad and clunky design, I'd much rather go with a Sager or MSI GE60-2OE

Better to compare Clevo W230ST and Razer 14"

To be honest I think the Blade should be placed in the Ultrabook category and be compared to laptops like the Aspire v7 or HP TouchSmart Envy 15t. Along with being thinner than these quasi-ultrabooks, it also has a much better GPU
