My Blade 14 just doesn't want to go to sleep. Even if I press, the power button, or close the lid, even if I put it to sleep through Windows, it just doesn't go off...

I really don't know what is going on. It's also the fact that sometimes it works, it sleeps, but after a while, it stops working again. I can't seem to find any pattern in this.

I have Windows 8.1. Everything else is working perfectly, it's just this...

    it happened again.

Last night I had to shut id down completely to not consume battery. In the morning powered up, used for an hour or so, closed the lid, it went to sleep nicely.

Used for a couple of hours throughout the day and closing the lid did put it to sleep.

However, now it just won't go to sleep.....closing the lid, pressing the button, calling sleep from Windows..nothing...

    Anyone experiencing this?

    EDIT:

I turned if off and back on again. Closed the lid, not going to sleep.

Turned if off for half an hour, back on, closed the lid and it now sleeps...really strange!

It happened just a few times in the last week or so. I don't really know what caused this exactly, but I think it may have something to do with Eclipse from Android (the ADT bundle). I know it sounds strange, but whenever I use this it happens. However, I have not been using Eclipse for more than a week and it has still happened, however, much less frequent.

still dunno what the heck is going on...

I had the same problem that just started recently. I noticed it was only tied to bluetooth turned off and/or airplane mode being turned on. It resolved for me after updating my killer n 1202 drivers to the latest fromthe mmanufacturer (even higher version number than the razer listed 8.1 drivers).

If that doesn't work for you, try to look for other drivers to be updated. I'm on latest the Nvidia and Intel gpu drivers also.

    Good luck!

My Killer driver is 1.1.38.1281. This seems to be the latest driver on Qualcomm's site.

Also recently updated Intel and NVidia graphics drivers (10.18.10.3412 and 334.89).

I have the updated video and killer wireless drivers (same as listed above) and noticed I am having sleep problems too. When i try to put it into sleep mode manually it sometimes just goes to my startup screen instead of sleeping.

I also noticed when i had it setup to sleep upon closing the lid the next time I turned it on it failed to boot, and then booted fine the 2nd try. It looks like maybe it never went to sleep like it was supposed to and instead my power plan was setup to hibernate after about 180 mins. I'm not quite sure where to start, I haven't fiddled with any power settings other than the lid closing action and my wireless is working great.

Sometimes it works fine, and other times it doesn't work at all. I've seen the failed to boot the 1st try from sleep mode twice today.
