In my opinion, the most inconvenient issue is the touchpad. The cursor literally jumps around when I try to Tap-to-Click feature. When I try to Tap-to-Click, sometimes it just jump to another position and it doesn't click, forcing me to perform the action again. I've tried every configuration with synaptic (Including sensitivity) and I got a little improvement, but the problem still persists. I contacted Razer Support and they told me to re-install the drivers and apply a registry modification ( https://copy.com/8ZwAAWjqHpxq), but still it didn't completely fixed it. Right now they want me to return the Razer Blade 14 for repair or replacement. The problem is that I tried another Razer Blade 14 from a Best Buy shelf and it showed the exact same glitchy behavior. So I'm afraid to return it and it comes back with the same issue.
I also tried using Ubuntu and the problem also occur.

The problem only happens when I try to tap-to-click, the physical buttons work fine. I made this video to show you what happens ( Razer Blade 14 erratic cursor behavior - YouTube).

The problem is that when the cursor "jumps" it doens't click, so I have to go back and do the action again.

Does it also happen with yours???

    Very annoying...

I usually use the trackpad button instead of tapping on the trackpad so I haven't really tested for this problem. I'll test it later today or tomorrow and reply back here.

Watching your video I can see that you aren't tapping the same spot each time, not even between double taps. The trackpad on the Blade is very sensitive so this is causing your moving cursor. Use the physical buttons and you won't have this issue.

I don't have this problem on my Blade 14. I agree with the poster that in your video your finger is a bit jittery and tapping different areas on your trackpad. Maybe reduce the sensitivity of your trackpad under mouse options of Win 8.

This is very weird because I already used other laptops and never faced this issue. I went to bestbuy and the shelf display of the razer blade presented the same glitchy behavior. I tried other laptops of other brands and models, also from the shelf and none of them had this issue.

This is definetely abnormal. This doesn't happen only when I double click, but also for single-tap click. I already tried many sensitivity configurations and it only improved a little bit. I would like to know if I should return it.

If you are not satisfied then I would get in touch with razer support if they do not fix your issue then they will likely issue a RMA and return it

    Yeah... You are right.
But I really like this laptop. I don't want my money back. I want it, but working properly.
The problem is that I don't know if this is a problem with my device specifically or if this is a problem with all Razer Blade 14 or even if this is a driver/firmware issue.

I contacted the support many times. Some people from support say that it is a driver problem and some say that I should return it.

That's why it would be great to have some feedback from you guys that have the Razer Blade.

    Thank you...

    I'm still having it...

I think this is probably a driver or firmware issue.

    Have you contacted Razer Support?

No I haven't, I probably should. I'd rather not return it though, I need it for work right now.

I'd also like to know if other people have this problem, or if it's just a few laptops that are having this issue...

I would like to know that too...

I contacted them and they said that I should return it. I can't return it right now because I'm leaving the country for vacations. I'm gonna do that when I get back in the beginning of the next year.
