After thermal paste burn in (10 hour), now is another 10 hour test (measurement taken 1 hour after temp have stabilized).

    Ambient is 25c

    gpu is still throttling

What stress test you run for gpu? You could also test Aida64 with stress FPU and GPU checked as well on stock and re-paste paste. If yoo have time.

    Fs ultra + occt?

Is it somehow obvious to run a second stress test in background and doesn't need to be said? Just curious about NBR users testing standards.

I see, but what I saw is a dual-test; running them one a time will barely push the notebook up to 85C, those temps are caused by both running at the same time, I guess.

Also, was it anyhow elevated? Being this thin and having it that small back-foot it requires a bit more of airflow to cool down (which helps lowering up to 5C).

I used a block / pack of post it to elevate the rear, so it's quite a big higher than some users would elevate theirs.

    Diluted?

    Concentrated you mean?

I would like to run the same tests on my blade and see if there is any difference.

Seems more in line with others with the same machine....odd though that the screws would be loose, another example of Razer's awesome QC.

Without the undervolt 3 core would reach 99c though.

If people don't want to repaste, I'd highly recommend at least to check the screws and undervolt the GPU.

I see with undervolt...I thought the test was at stock, and then with some undervolting it would get a little better. Can´t wait to see the results after the repasting job. Thanks for the beatdown.

    memory overclocking

some security features can be turned on / off

CSM compatibility (can boot with non-uefi OS)

everything else is pretty useless since the 7700HQ can be undervolted to below 45w power consumption on full tilt (games will take up much less)

Fan setting is unlocked, but it seems to be a generic bios entry. EC still controls fan regardless of bios setting.

You probably did, but still: take SS from normal load scenarios, just like a full Fire Strike run or just 3 or 4 in a row, as your way of testing was okay to see max cooling performances, but far from being something worth to be taken care of to judge real world efficiency.
