Just got my Blade today - so far, so good. Some annoyances, mostly with the trackpad. The biggest is that I can't seem to find a setting w/in the Synaptics menu to enable 2 finger tap as a right click. Is there a way to do this? I looked through the big master thread and didn't see that anyone got it working.

Help? With these small mouse buttons, two finger tap seems like a win.

    Thanks!

Hello there, I use a software called "twofingerscroll" eventhough their last release was on 2009, it works like a charm on windows 8 and 8.1, you can enable two finger tap for right click and smooth scrolling.

    Can be enabled through regedit

    a bit more detail?

    EDIT:

    found the steps:

    1. Open Regedit and navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Synaptics\SynTP\TouchPad...
    2. Find 2FingerTapAction and change the value to '2' (or '4' for middle button click)
    3. Find MultiFingerTapFlags and check if it is '3'
    4. Restart

EDIT2: realised the 3rd step was wrong: the value for MultiFingerTapFlags should be '3', not '4'. Sorry :D

I can't believe there is no easy option for this. However, it works perfectly like this! glad I helped!

I know that lurking through the registries is annoying and that is why I made these 3 reg scripts for anyone who wants them:

    1. this is for setting the 2 finger trackpad tap to a right click: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lox61t9v0scaavo/2FingerTapToRightClick.reg
    2. this is for setting the 2 finger trackpad tap to a middle mouse button press: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ryalrbfzsw98wer/2FingerTapToMiddleButton.reg
    3. this is for setting the 2 finger trackpad tap back to nothing: https://www.dropbox.com/s/iwgszs0n2gmr4bi/2FingerTapToNothing.reg

Tested and working on 2013 Blade 14. Not sure about 17/Pro versions or newer 14 2014, but if they have the same structure, they should work.

Bookmarked, and a heck of a lot more simple and convenient than the app!

Works perfectly on 2014 Razer Blade Pro

Now, the $.50 question is, why is there no option in software to turn on two finger right click? Am I the only one that finds it odd that one would have to perform a registry tweak to activate what should be basic functionality??

yeah I know it's pretty dumb. I asked myself the same question.

I thought they would've update the 2014 drivers version or something to allow enabling this, but apparently not.

Can confirm they work on the Blade Pro 2013; although the registry entries did not exists in my machine. I just created them and it worked fine.
