Sorry for another ranting post on this forum, but I thought I had to mention.

The build quality of the hinge of the RB isn't superb in my opinion. I had the laptop for a week and I had no problem opening/closing the lid of the laptop, but now I can hear creaking sound whenever I do so. Also, I noticed that the left side of the laptop hinge has sunk (I don't know if this is the right terminology), so that the bottom part of the lid would scratch the back of the bottom chassis. I have not used the laptop rigorously and am a careful user when it comes down to $2k laptops.

I called MS Store for a replacement (not because of this originally, it was due to poor trackpad movement and screeching/ticking noise from the laptop), but they are currently out of stock and my return date runs out in a week. Should I return the laptop now and wait until the replacement arrives or wait? I thought waiting would be a good option, but I am afraid that I wouldn't be able to return the laptop if I am keep receiving poor unit.
