I upgraded my ram to 64GB with these modules: https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-64gb-260-pin-ddr4-so-dimm/p/N82E16820374025?Item=N82E16820374025

But I'm getting memory-related BSOD now when rendering through after effects and using most of the ram.

Is this brand not supported, or do I need to enable XMP? I do have an edited bios with overclocking enabled but haven't got the memory portion unlocked in the code yet.

CPU-Z shows a DRAM freq of 798.1 with uncore freq grayed out and nothing there.

What are the specs of your laptop? Did it initially come with 3200MHz RAM?

    Yes, it's the 2021 4K OLED version that comes with 32GB @ 3200mhz
I had to re-install the stock RAM as I kept getting blue screens on the new ones, even tried re-seating and swapping the slots, still BSOD while rendering.

https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/pd6mlq/razer_blade_15_advanced_mid_2021_memory_upgrade/- Kingston appears to work well
    https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/m567z3/what_is_the_exact_ram_that_cames_on_blade_2021/ -- mentions Samsung

Some mention of Razer disabling XMP in BOS updates preventing above stock speeds like 3200
    https://insider.razer.com/index.php?threads/razer-blade-15-17-advance-models-ram-issues.78874/
    https://insider.razer.com/index.php...3200mhz-nominal-speeds-may-require-xmp.78171/

Another issue appears to be 1.25V vs 1.35V producing issues with the speed in which the RAM is able to run at // could potentially spit a BSOD as well due to not having the correct V applied to the RAM.

Yeah, I saw issues with the Crucial ones specifically, but not the G.SKill ones which claim to be 1.2v at 3200mhz anyway. Worth noting I haven't run memtest yet so it may just be bad sticks (which luckily I can still return or RMA), but I may try unlocking XMP as well just in case.

Worst case scenario I'll just buy the Kingston ones which I've heard people having no issues with, but they are much more expensive...

It's always a gamble with these things. I've been lucky using the cheapest / fastest options though over the years. Right now I'm running PNY in my server and TEAM in my laptop. I've had good luck with PNY on multiple devices though w/o any compatibility issues. I've used Crucial in the past too and not had issues.

Things are a changing though with different fabs / tweaks being made without much differential being explicitly disclosed. The TEAM upgrade was $90 for 32GB which seems ;like a decent deal considering how prices have been fluctuating.

I don't pay attn to the voltage unless something goes wrong as it's usually more specific to the type / use like desktop 1.35 / laptop 1.2. I suspect when I jump to ADL-P on the laptop side it will be different yet again. The PNY above is being used with ADL-S and runs like clockwork.

DDR5 is still out of stock or obscenely priced at this point. When I was building virtually for ADL-S it wasn't too bad @ $140 16GB but, scalpers swooped in and now it's $1000 until more supply comes online. I would roll the dice on some Amazon configurations and if they work keep them and if they don't send them back for free.

What is the BSOD failure code? I have the 32gb set in my 2020 advanced and it works flawlessly.
