I am thinking of selling my MacBook Pro Retina'13 to get a RazerBlade '15. The Mac has just as many issues as Windows machines and then there's the fact some software just isn't offered on OSX. I am running Parallels and it's just a pain in the ass to keep both going. Are the RB'15's as problematic as some of these threads are showing? The CS seems to be pretty much trash. I have to have a reliable laptop for work, and some gaming.

    Hi there.

I bought the RB15 FHD 2 months ago and to date its been fine (touch wood). I think it's hit and miss how it turns out and alot of people have bought through the Microsoft reseller as you get additional cover.

They do look bloody good though!

I had a Macbook Pro for a while and got the RazerBlade 2015 QHD+ after that. Best of both worlds! Physically its basically a black Macbook pro but internally its so much better, and with Windows, which I just prefer (even Windows 8). I for one have had few issues with the laptop, even upgraded the SSD without problem. The issues I did have were easily resolved and I recommend you ask for a recovery USB just in case. While a last resort, it returned everything to like new for me when I had some issues playing Witcher 3. I also use the laptop for work and on the train and it gives me a decent batter life for that. Playing Witcher 3 on the train barely gives me an hour but thats to be expected. Scaling issues can be annoying sometimes with the 4k screen but nothing terribly unfixable. If thats a deal breaker, you can always get the Full HD version, which some reviewers say is the better version, though I love my screen and enjoy the touchscreen too

In sum, I could not be happier. SO glad I spent money on this. Feel free to ask questions if you have any!

Edit: I got it in March 2015

I didn't think the SSD in that could be upgraded by the user.
