    Hey guys,

Does anyone know what type of Audio hardware they are using inside of the Blade 14? And, do any of you use headphones or speakers with your blade? If you do, does the blade give any noise or interference when you plug in your headphones or speakers. My old alienware has a very noisy signal from its internal audio card.

    Thanks

    -Matt

It's got a standard Realtek integrated audio card. I do a lot of listening to music with a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50x headphones and it sounds good. My standards are relatively low for laptop audio, but it's certainly better than most of the laptops I've owned. :)

I can second that. I've used a somewhat cheap pair of earbuds and also a nice pair of Beyer Dynamic DT770's (32 ohm) and they both sound great.

The Realtek chip used in the 2014 Blade 14 is the ALC269

cool thanks guys. I suppose I could use one of my external DACs to bypass the internal card it is bad. I have a good pair of Senniesers (or however you spell it) so I was jsut wondering. I think this is going to be my summer gift to myself!
