I'm happy to say I've purchased by first Blade after many years!

I've always wanted a Blade since they came out yet their price was way too high compare to other brands with similar specs. As such I've always stuck with the Predator line. However the new Blade in Mercury White was just too hard to pass up so I finally pulled the trigger.

So far haven't encountered any issues other than temps which is to be expected. 30 mins of Division 2 gameplay and the CPU hit 90 while the GPU hit 75. I was able to UV to -120mv, ran XTU with no crash, ran TimeSpy, no crash and the temps capped out 80, i'm satisfied with that!

Mine has just arrived today, looks amazing and I am going to benchmark it and tweak it like crazy tonight. I have the 2070 version as in the uk it was almost the same price on amazon as the 2060

Very nice! It's the same here in the US, the 2070 on Amazon is only $100-200 more than the 2060 version. I bought mine from Best Buy however as Best Buy was offering zero interest 12-month payments which makes it easier for me than buying from Amazon and having to pay the full amount.

It was cheaper today than the 2060 on Amazon UK...Comes with a smaller SSD though but I rather buy a 1TB drive for the price difference anyway.

Yeah I got it for £2069 and now it’s even better at £2018!

I installed a 970 evo 1tb straight away and will use the 256gb as an external drive

Well worth it though, been using it for a couple of weeks and really loving it. The 2070 max q with a small overclock wasn’t far off the 2070 in the Alienware area 51m

Gonna do the same, will replace the drive with an 1TB one. Looking forward to see the thermal performance.

Mine has been nothing short of amazing. It needs an undervolt as all 8750h do. I use a 145mv undervolt which gives me 3.1ghz in balanced mode whilst playing bf5 or 3.5ghz on gaming mode which is average for the slim and lights I have tested (omen, m15 and 2018 blade).
But the fans are much quieter now (quieter than all the slims above) and the WASD keys stay cool unlike the m15 (that drove me crazy)

Are you using auto fans or manual?

I uv to -130 and still use max fans manual to stay below 85C on black ops 4. It stays below 80 on overwatch.

Maybe I should try to get to -145?

I am just using auto at the moment. I don’t think there will be a big difference between 130 and 145 but every little helps! I managed 150 undervolt for a few benchmarks but had a couple of crashes in games so backed it off to 145 and it’s been solid since
