So I decided to go and buy a new razer blade 14 inch 2016 model with 512GB SSD, while sending the unit i got 5 days ago back to razer for a refund. I went to the microsoft store yesterday, purchased it, came home.
was happy to see that the model i bought isnt making any buzzing/ electrical sounds like the privious model i am sending for a refund, but after 1 hour of use, this started to happen :

Dang man, your luck is awful. I would return it, unless someone else here knows what's making that noise. Perhaps a fan?

Check that nothing is putting pressure on the underside. I've noticed that the bottom casing gives way easily with pressure and hits the fans, making a clicking sound. Grab the grilles with a fingernail and pull gently down and away from the fans and see if the noise stops.

If this is what it does on the first day of using, i rather return it... Who knows what other problems might happen

    Yes, indeed.
Just return it and grab a new one for good, being you after all this I wouldn't want to give up, no matter what the weird luck would keep bringing me.

I feel sorry for you, tho.

My 2014 was doing something similar but only when laying flat. One of the screws holding the fan was loose. Tightened it up and it's been quiet since.

Its the fan hitting something. Came across this issue on multiple blades already. You can pop the bottom panel off and see if something is in the way of the fan or send it back.

I ended up sending the unit back to the microsoft store.
Razer CSM contacted me if i want to send the first unit with the GPU coil whine , though he thinks that this issue is in other blade units, though hard to notice it...
so i will just end up keeping the first unit with the electric static buzzing sound...

They will always try forcing your hand, while sending in my 2015 I had to go through two weeks of dumb emails, they started saying, for a out a week, they couldn't register my Pc on their system, while keeping threatening me about losing any support if I "kept declaring the false about my warranty or warranty status" (and I was like "wtf, I've just sent you 3 pics with my name written on paper, next to a clear view of the S/N" ); next they wasted my time, like one more week, saying that white clouds on the screen weren't as clear as I kept declaring watching the pics I sent in; in the end they wasted 3 more of my days whining my address and c/o were too long for their system.

All of this by replying with no more than 1 email per day, altho I was replying in a matter of minutes.

So yea, they don't like RMAs at all and they are told to lie or make troubles in any possible way; I'd rather keep forcing their hand than giving up with an unperfect 2300 $ notebook.

Yeah, these notebooks are too expensive for garbage support. You get money by having a desirable well-made product. You keep your customers buying them for the long term by having excellent support. They need to learn lesson 2 it seems.

Thankfully my only dealing with support so far has been them sending me a USB restore drive and that was painless.

If possible (say you're in the US), use their phone support, it's a much better experience than email. The phone folks are very good, email support folks are not.

I had that issue with my 2014 RB. It's the fan. They'll exchange it no problem. It's amazing how Razer still hasn't honed in on the issue over 2 years later. I wouldn't be surprised if the intermittent USB power failure issue is also still present. What a shame.

I get some static sounds coming from my speakers when I move a mouse. Wired or wireless, doesn't matter.
