Finally got a RB a week ago :) now I am working on upgrading the SSD for work reasons.

So I did some research and found out that the Crucial MX200 500GB would be compatible with the laptop but what I am having a bit of an issue is the tools I need to be able to change the SSD. I understand I need a Torx T5? But to be honest I have no idea what that is - so I was wondering if anyone could link me to a reliable place to get the required tools since what I am finding on Amazon does not seem to have good reviews.

Which year Blade did you buy? That drive will only fit the 2013 model. The 2014 and 2015 require 2280 M.2 SATA (note: NOT PCIe) drives. See this thread: http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...-review-swapping-instructions-cloning.771316/

    Also, here's a link to a Torx T5 driver: http://www.amazon.com/Wiha-96705-Screwdriver-Precision-Handle/dp/B000T9XPU4/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1434414221&sr=8-4&keywords=torx t5
    Don't settle for a crap T5 driver.

I would suggest getting a recovery USB from Razer, and just explain you're replacing the SSD. It's pretty much a hassle-free way of installing Windows on your new drive without any hassle whatsoever. No Windows key needed on my install, but one thing to note is that it does still install the built-in Razer recovery partition as well - which I believe takes up 20gb or so on the drive (no option to not install it).
