Hi, I have a Razer Blade 15 2070Max-q and I’m trying to use the vbios on the Pro 17 for the 100watt it allows on that 2070Max-q instead of my 90watt. Please if any can help and send me there vbios I would very much appreciate it.
    Thanks

You can follow these guides to do it.

    https://www.trishtech.com/2017/07/how-to-backup-gpu-bios-or-uefi-from-inside-windows/

    https://www.overclockersclub.com/guides/how_to_flash_rtx_bios/

Here is the Razer Blade Pro 2070Max-q 100watt vbios
    https://mega.nz/#!o4ZX0IjT!bNy2US-O2P6Ncw5coia32pwqIFjVWo7Wcda9HhJOarY

    Update: 12/8/2019
Having trouble getting the 100watt tdp with the RBP 2070-Maxq vbios as seen in HWINFO,
    Screenshot (18).png
Not only that my core clock speed keeps fluctuating and am not thermal throttling or hitting 90watt tdp limit.
I know the pic shows 1,680.0 MHz but it gets lower then that while playing and because of that my fps drops to low 50 sometimes for a bit but should't with the hardware I have. My setup in that pic playing COD MW is high settings rtx off on an ultra wide with liquid metal on both gpu and cpu. Any way to get max performance?
    Screenshot (19).png
I also took the RBP 2070-Maxq vbios and loaded in Mobile Pascal TDP Tweaker and you can see the Target (mW) is 90000 but the limit Target (mW) is 100000. Could this be the reason why?
    Screenshot (5).png
I have the early RB 15 with the 8th gen cpu on motherboard bios v1.05 with tweaks from http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...trol-of-the-i7-8750h-advanced-version.823065/
Any help or ideas would very much be appreciated.

I can't directly help you, but I can provide some links that you can try if you are interested. I couldn't find any 100W variants, but there are a couple 115W vBIOs available. I think they are all 10DE 1F10, which is the same as RB15 2070, so pretty good chance of working.

Here are my results from using the MSI vbios on Shadow of the Tome Raider
    [IMG]
Im able to go up to 115 power limit but now the voltage it staying beween .625mV to around .700mV which is resulting in lower clock speeds.
Here is the same area with the stock vbios. I also tried the Asus vbios same results and the display port didn't work unlike on the MSI vbios. Even tried the power throttle mod but no change. If anyone has any input on what can be done please help.
@bjrebo I also have LM with copper shims and undervolted my gpu. Some games like GTA 5 my clock speed goes up to 1770mhz.

Good to see it flashed alright. Not so good to see it isn't giving added performance.

    Some thoughts:
    - Did you completely remove the Nvidia drivers using DDU and reinstall?
    - When you look in HWiNFO, is your GPU Power always at ~115W, even if you aren't using the dGPU?
    - Did you try the modded drivers?

I removed my drivers with DDU and installed the modded drivers. While playing nothing changed voltage still at .650mV and power is at 150.
I also tried the TongFang vbios same thing.

You have to use a Razer Max q or other max q 100W vbios if you try the max p it will not clock right as you are seeing. That’s why you need the 100w from the razer blade pro.

We experienced this trying to flash max p vbios on our 2080 doesn’t work. Something weird with how drivers install and show a false power usage and extremely low clock rate.

I think it has something to do with the drivers still identifying that our gpus are Max-q models.

I've looked through forums where people have successfully flashed a higher tdp bios and they always report msi afterburner showing the name of the gpu they flashed to.

Interesting. That would make sense it does still show as the Max-q variant after. Any ideas on what we can do?

sorry i should clarify, i can do 1515 at .700mv and can do 1650 at .750. What i will tell you is there is almost no performance difference between the two. I actually had a timespy run that put me within one point of the razer blade 15 highest score. I think it was close to 7800 GPU score if i remember correctly. did we ever find a 100watt razer bios? I have plenty of thermal left to push. CPU is around 80 and GPU runs around 77-79 in Anthem which is the most demanding game i play.

download a program called GPUZ. It is like CPUZ for graphics cars. In the main screen there is a little arrow and that will allow you to dump the bios. I think you can zip it and send it to us in a PM! Thanks so much!

Hey guys, yesterday I tired to save the bios with GPU-Z. Here is the screenshot of my card:

But GPU-Z keeps crashing when I try to dump it. Anything else I can try?

    Hi!

Getting my Razer Blade 15 soon and also keen on trying the 100w Bios.

Did you try to run GPU-Z by Right click „run as Administrator“ ?

    Hi
Hey, glad to see somebody’s trying to help out! I’m new to the forum, and just registered so I can’t send a PM... :/

I would be more than happy to test your Vbios out on my mid-2019 blade 15 with 2070! Since I can’t p.m., can you send me one and I will reply with my email?

    I would be very grateful!!

Hey, so it's pretty late so here's some quick feedback. I'll provide more info tomorrow.

    For starters I have the mid-2019 i7-9750h with 2070 max q. (stock was 80w)

I was already running on the vbios from the "2018 i7-8750 2070mq" model - 90w
Here is my highest score with that rom: https://www.3dmark.com/fs/19973299

Today, Falkio and Flonky reached out provided the vbios from the RB Pro 2070maxq.

Flashed it, and here is my highest score: https://www.3dmark.com/fs/20519186

Definitely jumped up a bit!!!! and I still have more tinkering with Throttlestop and Afterburner.

I NEED TO CRACK 18,000... Thanks again!!!
