When it's plugged into an outlet but not my Blade, it makes ticking noises. The ticking goes away when I plug my laptop in. Is this normal? What is it?

I have approached razor and gotten a replacement unit from them in regards to this issue. However, i realized that the replacement one makes that sound too. And i have confirmed it with my friend who owns a blade as well. His makes that noise too. So upon further discussions with a Razor support team member, in their words, it is normal and should not affect the performance or health of the power brick at all. My personal take on this is that for them to have designed and cramp so much tech into such a tiny power brick, i'm sure certain components when shrunk caused this noise when their larger counterpart would not. All in all, my friend's brick has been like that for the past year and a half, it hasn't failed and is still performing as it should be. Don't worry about it.

Mine also clicks when plugged in to an outlet but not the laptop. Seems a pretty common problem. Works fine (so far)

Some bricks may be quieter than others. I have two, but one that I leave at home barely makes any noise. The other one makes the ticking noise even when plugged in, but not as loud as unplugged.
