Just a heads up there is a known issue between Mumble and Synapse in regards to the latest version of Synapse I believe. If I open Mumble while Synapse is running Mumble just hangs. Working solution is to close down Synapse and then reload Mumble and connect before restarting Synapse.

    *Edit*
After an hour or so Mumble crashes out again so this doesn't work either. I'll just stick with a different voip until the issue is resolved.

I had similar issues as well and I thought it was Synapse that was the problem, it seems that it was one of my device drivers. What Razer devices are you using?

My issue is with an Orbweaver on the RBP. Try unplugging your Nostromo, does everything work normally after?

These are the steps I took that helped me pinpoint what the problem was:

    1. Uninstall EVERYTHING Razer on your computer. Start with the software drivers via Programs, then manually delete all the AppData files, Document files, etc, from Razer. Please make sure you check your AppData folder.

    2. Reboot.

    3. Unplug all Razer devices.

    4. Reboot.

    5. Install Synapse without any devices plugged in.

    6. Reboot.

Hopefully by now, your Synapse at least works. If it does, step 8. If it doesn't, I would repeat steps 1-6 and double check if uninstalls were done completely and all Razer files were deleted.
Plug in your Razer devices one by one and install-reboot them.

Do so until you either have everything working again or find out what the driver/device culprit it. For me, it's my Orbweaver. If it's plugged in, Synapse and all Razer programs (including my games they slow down) stop working.

Thanks for the heads up though we may have miscommunication here, all of my Razer products work flawlessly. Mumble however will not run as long as Synapse is running.

I see. There must really be something wrong with the latest Synapse update. Some of my software wouldn't work either with Synapse before I did those steps.

Im getting the same problem! Its my nostromo which is causing the problem! Mumble freezes as soon as i plug it in! As soon as I remove it, it works fine again! Sadly I cant use another VOIP as I run a large Planetside 2 outfit and I have jut spent 50 pounds on this pile £$%& does anyone know how to fix this? I cant even install an earlier version of Synapse as it will not detect the devices until you update!
