I am very very close to pull the trigger and order either the blaze or blaze pro, but I noticed that Alienware 17 started offering the GTX-780M. I have the feeling that the only one that may able to host the GTX-780M will be the Blaze Pro. I guess the big question or guess is how long it may take to Razer to update their Blaze line with the latest Nvidia.

What do you think? Any educated guess?

I doubt the chassis on the Razer Pro can hold the amount of heat and power the 780M needs....

Blade* not Blaze? Also yes the TDP of the 780M far out weighs anything the razor can supply.

Yeah it uses over twice the power of the 765M.

Do you guys think it is worth buying a Razer 14" now then? Plan to buy one whether this gen or next. Heard Nvidia 800m series is coming out early next year as well.

Any new piece of hardware or software is always outdated within a year of the manufacturer's product cycle so you must really ask yourself is It worth waiting for something that will be replaced by a newer and better model next year?

Razer also has not revealed any information regarding their plans for the 2014 blade if they announced it, that they are upgrading the hardware again, with the NVidia 800m series cards or the upcoming intel processors then I would suggest you wait, since intel is constantly striving to reduce power consumption on their chips thus reducing the heat output the current 2013 gen blade produces, but I did read somewhere that their next gen chips are more focused on the iGPU side of things improving the iGPU instead of the cpu itself.

Could it handle a 770m? I believe the 765m and the 770m have the same if not close power consumption. Are they the same socket too?

I doubt Razer will update the Blade with another 7xx GPU. The next Blade will most likely come next year and have an 8xx GPU.

Agree on that, does not make any sense to make a third blade using Kepler GPU.

Thank you guys for your valuable input. I completely forgot about about the gtx-800. I am guessing that this monster is going to suck a lot of power and the only way to compensate this is by using the next generation of Intel (better power consumption)

Let it be clear. In the current low-profile design, the Razer Blade or any successors will not have a top end video card.

In addition, the 765m used is soldered on to the mobo, if I recall, and cannot be replaced.
