Anybody tried https://github.com/corna/me_cleaner on Razer laptops successfully?

I'm able to get the script to truncate the FW image (-t) but not strip it completely - it says "requires full dump" but I am using the full dump provided by Razer. o_O

    Further digging ...

I'm able to mod the BIOS to show these settings but with "ME State: Disabled" ME does indeed report to be totally off (hooray) but the machine takes 30 seconds to boot and there's no sound no matter what I do, tried reinstalling audio drivers etc etc ... anybody chime in here? @hackness

When trying to set "Me FW Image Re-Flash" to Enabled (per Win-Raid.com forums) the computer reboots to turn the option off. It really seems like they've made it a headache to take this backdoor out.
