Razer announced today, that they plan releasing another update to address the Spectre vulnerability (CPU microcode update). If they deliver, we might have a 3in1 update for:

    1. The Intel HT bug
    2. Intel ME vulnerability
    3. Spectre

Maybe 2 in 1 because the new spectre microcode already has built in fixes for HT bug.
As for MEI FW you can grab it from Win-raid and use Intel CSME System tools repo.

I thought Assembler was using a Razer from Late 2015 which didn't get MEFW.

Oh...I see. This particular vulnerability affects 6th, 7th and 8th gen intel core processors. Haswell is not affected, so now we are waiting for the spectre patch to be released.
