My Blade 14 is my only computer. I have a 27'' monitor which it is plugged into at home .I can play most games at High at 1080p. I also work from home, and use the Razer Blade as my work laptop as well.

All in All couldn't be happier with my purchase, feels as close to having your cake and eating it too as you can get.....

Can't comment on that as I am only using 1080p. I can say however that the blade would not be effective at gaming in resolutions above 1080p

Well, I think it could output higher and play games at 1440p, but you'd have to put graphic to medium. Better to play 1080p with high definition than 1440p with medium...

I also use Blade 14 as my main computer and it is perfect. I can play all my games flawlessly, it's quiet, beautiful but most importantely, battery life is awesome. I bring it to school and it easily last all day (using it ~5 to 6 hours).

I'm planning to buy a bigger screen, but mainly for playing games, cause 14 inch is not enough sometimes.

I believe you need two inputs to get 120/144hz on those monitors and the blade only has one HDMI port. Plus unless you plan on really dropping your settings you don't have the hardware to push those kinds of frame rates

I use my Blade 14" as my only machine. I only have the 256gb and it filled up fast, between solidworks, matlab, office, and about a dozen games I only have 40gb left. I'm looking to add a 480gb or 512gb msata soon. Otherwise I run a 1920x1200 monitor and it can run most games at high settings at 30-40fps.
