As someone with a pending order for the Razer Blade 14'' laptop, I am starting to get a bit concerned with the amount of faulty units being record " both the screen and other aspects of the laptop". Stories of customers having to return the laptop multiple times is just nuts!

I am really leaning towards cancelling my order, however before jumping to anyone conclusions I would like feedback from some of the members on this board. Has anyone received a non-defective Razer Blade 14'' and is happy with their purchase?

My experience with Razer has been great so far. My 256gb Blade 14 shipped on time and with no defects (no dead pixels and no static noise from headphone jacks). Also, the screen is far from exceptional, like the rest of the laptop is, but I feel that the board has exaggerated how bad the screen actually is. It's very sharp and bright, even in very bright environments, but the viewing angles are very bad. However, I am very happy with my purchase overall. The only thing I haven't tested are the USB ports, but I don't think there should be an issue with them.

my 14 is fine, no dead pixels, no keyboard issues, runs great.

same as everyone else, the screen has bad viewing angles, but nothing a little tilt wont fix. The screen is very bright and looks fine on its own. The alienware 14 looks better with the glossy, deeper colors, but when I dont have them side by side, I dont have any complaints.

Screen of the new Alienware 14 is anti-glare matte and not glossy with a FHD IPS panel with 72% color gamut and lower black level for deep blacks instead of greyish blacks.

Yes, my friend has one and no defects. I think the reason why you've been seeing all these defects from owners is because they're the only ones who bother posting =p the ones with perfect units are too busy with it.
