    Hi,

is it possible to limitate the fans to 60% max, for example?

I do this with the "SmartManager" at my Gigabyte-Notebook (Geforce 970m).

The notebook is so much quieter. In most games the fps drops ~25% (the gpu core also drops ~25% MHz)
I think that's ok, because the notebook is really much quieter (I prefer quiter than display more details ingame).

If it is possible: Can somebody test his 2015 model with Witcher 3? 10 minutes is enough. Save-Game-Load without moving. FPS-Compare Beginning with End after 10 Minutes. I hope (only) 25% fps-drop (my Gigabyte P55) are not exceeded... ;)

    Thank you. :)

    >limiting fan speed on a 14 inches ultra powerful notebook
    >melting its components
    >whining @ manufacturer their notebook is hot

Anyways, there's no way to control fans on a Razer Blade (sadly, I'd love to push it to 100% while playing all the time, tbh) cause of your kind of ideas, which would make happen what I mentioned earlier.

Are you sure? I 'm sure I have read, thats a way to control the fans. That goes for multiple devices, Gigabyte / Aorus, for example.
Razer has definitely no software for it ?

You maybe can with using the HWinfo fancontrol function.

But I would advise you not too. YOu can corrupt your EC profiles with it. ANd the Razer is already becoming TOO hot for its own good. Forcing this even more is damaging your battery due to heat big time.

Hwinfo doesn't let you either, I've been trying it too, different builds as well :/

I've underclocked my CPU to about 2.7GHz with Intel XTU and the fans are much quieter while gaming because it rarely reaches the final fan profile.

Interesting that hwinfo doesn't work for this machine. I use it on my Alienware 17r3 and I can limit it by a lot and set my own custom curve.
