    Effects of coil whine

    After three months' deliberation, I'm pretty much set on the 14" Blade. However, I'd like to ask a couple of questions before placing my order: firstly, is the coil whine from the GPU symptomatic of an issue which will damage the laptop in the long run? Does it imply that anything is wrong with the machine?

    Secondly, to those of you who've contacted support about the noise: have they given you the option to return the laptop, or is the coil whine not considered a manufacturing defect? Would the MS store and Razer store handle this issue differently? I'd like to know because ordering from the MS store would be ideal for me, since their warranty covers accidental damage.

    And, finally: how many of you have noticed coil whine or noises from the power supply? I'd like an idea of how common these issues actually are. If they're widespread, I might put off buying the Blade until I'm in the US for college, so I can easily return a faulty unit.

    And the new on works fine.
