I just thought I'd share my experience putting my first wrap on a notebook. I wanted to protect my Razer 14 a little more since I plan to carry it a lot more than previous notebooks so the wrap was about the only thing I saw available. They have hundreds of patterns available on their website (only a few on amazon) but I chose the simple, black brushed aluminum that matches the stock finish best.

No matter what you choose, realize that this wrap doesn't cover the sides at all, so if you choose a color it will still have black edges all the way around. There are pieces for the mouse pad and buttons, which I used and didn't seem to affect the mouse in any way. If they do, they are easy to remove. It has a cloth-like feel (texture) and makes the notebook a little easier to grip, which is a nice touch too.

Install was easy enough with the plastic wrap that you use during install, and pull off when completed. Bubbles were easier to get rid of than any screen protector I've ever installed. Partially I suppose because any super tiny bubbles you may not even see, and partially because of the material thickness.

The one I chose has a little bit of a metal spec look to it that some may not like, but I was pleasantly surprised but how good it looks. It really shows up in the pictures so you can get an idea of what I mean. I would bet that most people looking at it won't even know it's just a wrap. I'll see how well it holds up but I'm hoping it protects the case from scuffs and scratches of everyday use. I really liked the dark blue aluminum one too but wasn't sure how well I'd like it with the black sides showing.

It wrapped around edges good and contours of the lid. I was expecting bubbles there but it must stretch just enough for handle the curves. I went ahead and went right over my windows label and the i7 sticker because I've had bad luck trying to scrape them off before. They usually leave gunk behind plus you ruin the label itself. I took a chance and went right over them and while yes you can see that I covered them, i don't think it looks particularly bad.

The only real negatives I can think of are the cost (about $30), the fact it doesn't protect/cover the sides at all, and the choice of having to either remove or covering the labels.

Thank's for the review! I was just looking into wraps myself for my blade that's on the way. How did the wrap hold up? decalrus seems to be the only site with wraps for the blade.

Do these decals come with the logo cutout? Or do you know of any decals that hide the razer logo on the lid?

I think the razer blade looks awesome, the only thing that bothers me is that super green logo on the lid :)

I applied the same skin to my new Razer Blade and it does like nice. I did also have to order a second one after totally botching the top piece on my first order.
It does come with the logo cut out, I do not think there are ones that do not have the logo cut out. However, you could probably place the decal for the track pad over the logo, and then place the top chasis decal over that if you really want to hide the logo (which I understand too).
I only placed my decals on the top lid and the palm rest however, I want to place the bottom sticker because the chasis seems to scratch very easy (scuffed the lid just cleaning it before applying the decal), but I wonder if that will disrupt the heat transfer.
