This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Can't install windows from ANY OF MY USB DRIVES!

    Your posts are confusing. You plug the USB drive into a different computer and it gets to the "Welcome" screen..? There is no welcome screen on install.

    Also, you are saying you don't have $30 to go to BB buy an external drive and then return it? This would be the quickest way to test this. Have you tried a different USB stick? I've had plenty of PC's where one USB stick just refuses to work.
