Can anyone create a calibrated ICC profile for the 2014 Blade?

The screen is a tremendous improvement over the previous gen, but it would still be nice to have a good calibration done. I don't have the calibration equipment, so I am hoping some that does can provide the next best thing with an ICC profile of their calibration.

    Thanks!

My lab has a i1Pro, so I'll give the calibration a shot on Monday when I receive my RB2014.

I think it'll offer ICC v2 or ICC v4; I don't know anything about this stuff, so which would you like?

Im not sure on the v2 or v4. Perhaps someone else knows or just get both if possible? Thanks for volunteering!

Sorry folks, it turns out the i1Pro was on loan from another lab and was since returned, so no calibration from me I'm afraid :(

Now that more people have gotten their units, maybe someone else could do this?

Isn't every panel a little different? Calibrating one probably won't work in every instance, though I guess it would be close.

The calibration was so far off it wasn't even remotely humorous on my Late 2011 MacBook Pro 13. I used SuperCal Pro to calibrate it . Worked very well, WAY better than the stock calibration procedure that exists in OS X. Maybe there's something similar for Windows?

I've used other people's ICC profiles and feel they make a significant improvement in the color accuracy (though you could argue there is confirmation bias going on here). This website ( TFT Central - LCD Monitor Information, Reviews, Guides and News) has a large database of them for each panel they review, but you won't find something for the Blade there.

There is a tool within Windows to calibrate the display but it relies on the human eye to do it. I have used this tool on my RB14 and it looks better, but would still like to compare the results to a properly calibrated ICC profile even if it is from another display. In my experience, the RB14 display seems to be red heavy.

I have a eye-one calibrator, if I ever get my laptop, I'll calibrate it and put it up. Keep in mind, like hfm mentioned before, each panel is slightly different and it may not look right on yours. Also, panels change over time, so it may get less accurate over the next month of use.

That would be great. I understand the possible inaccuracies but would like to at least compare the calibration to the one I did.
