Blade 14 with AMD and 3060 yay or nah.

As some recent rumors, rogame the famous leaker has found Razer motherboard that runs ryzen 5900HX and Rtx 3060, this would be legit competitor for Zephyrus g14 if rumored 14 inch form factor is true. With way better build quality and proper web cam. I personally just got book 13 and performance for a 3060 doesn’t even a millimeter take my attention. But I saw a lot no amd no buy fans that hold their Razer blade purchase because of intel CPU. So are you hyped or not if they bring this out unlike their ces products like Valerie or Linda that I’ve been waiting forever.

edit: to be clear, it would need to be a blade 15 with all their usual offerings + AMD, lol but yeah pretty exciting seeing this

 

God, you made me want to do the same with my book 13 , definitely if they’ve mercury option. Hope we’ll know something on 7th April event, I think there’s something on that day not sure what though.

 

Wow. Ever since selling my 2017 Blade 14" I've been looking for a suitable replacement. Got the 2020 Asus G14 last year and just got the 2021 G14, incredible 14" laptops. There's no competition in my opinion in the 14" market. If this Blade comes out I will buy it in a heartbeat! Unless it lacks adaptive sync...which is why I love my G14. I will never buy another laptop that doesn't have adaptive sync / FreeSync / G-sync.

I would be interested with a 5900HS even (HX is great if they can cool it) and a RTX 3060. I'm in the camp of needing an upgrade off my 2017 14" razer and have been holding back since all the Blade 15's feel way bigger than they are with the non-rounded edges, bigger power adapters and sharper edges. Intel still being stuck on 14nm is another...

Portability, battery life and the ability to throw down on AAA titles at 60FPS is still good for non-competitive gamers. I just need an upgrade off of the GTX1060 at this point since too many titles I find myself having to turn down settings on. I think Cyberpunk I even had to go down to 1600x900 to make it work.....

 

They’ll move on 10nm, I think MSI has leaked 11gen H CPU. And yes totally agree HS and 2 slot upgradeable ram would be sweat, sweat enough to slap g14. From that timespy score CPU performance is worse than HS, maybe thermal throttle or typical Razer power limitation instead 45 Watt maybe 35 or lower depends synapse mode and thermal condition. I know that feeling too I like better 14 form factor and that sleek line on monitor backcover between the logo, but I was sold with 15 slim bezel, after almost 3 years I think I can look at it full 24 hours, unlike the 14 bezels, and till today it still looks not outdated compared to 2021 laptops, on some brands their bezel under the screen still looks like my MBP 2012 lmao.

 

Looks like tonight's stream was just for an 11th gen Intel 13.3" ultrabook. I think it's just iGPU. Going to have to keep hoping and holding out...
