Best place to purchase an Razer Blade RTX?

I think I have settle for the Blade RTX over the MSI gs65. I am going to go with the base 2070 model and probably upgrade the SSD.

I am sure I will get the warranty but I am not sure where I should purchase and who has the least hassle on warranty issues.
Best Buy?
Amazon?
Direct from Razer?

Any suggestions and best course of action from current owners? I will probably purchase in the spring.

HIDEvolution, get the liquid metal and thermal pad upgrades - it will throttle on the stock paste.

 

Went to check it out but I am stunned by the prices. They want an additional 250.00 USD OVER the base price just to have the opportunity to pay more for the Liquid Metal.

Their 3 year warranty is also 200.00 more than Amazons 4 year warranty. I would be willing to pay a premium but I cant get gouged like that .....I can do the liquid metal myself.

 

You can do liquid metal yourself, but if it leaks out it will void any other warranty. You are also paying for a much higher quality of customer service, as Razer's customer service is notoriously bad. I don't know what Amazon's warranties are like for computers though.

 

Generally speaking, Razer customer support doesn't have a very good reputation which is why you see people looking for other avenues of purchase.
As someone else noted, getting the liquid metal application through HIDevolution will mean it will be covered by them should anything happen. I believe they offer a NBR discount to active members. You should contact @Donald@HIDevolution directly if this interests you.
Another good option is the Microsoft Store. The advantage here is you can see the notebook in person before buying (if there's a store near you) and they offer up to four years of warranty and accidental damage protection. You can also get a 10% discount if you are a student or parent of one, teacher or military.
Amazon also offers up to a four year warranty and accidental damage protection as an add-on. You could even get it buy it from HIDevolution through Amazon.
Best Buy also lets you have the face-to-face experience and offers warranty and accidental damage protection up to three years (if you don't have any issues with the "Geek Squad").

On a side note, are you aware there is a RTX 2060 model? Just asking because I would assume that would be even "basier" if that's what you were looking for.

 

I would pick a place with no question asked return, my Blade RTX 2070 is plagued by coil whine on idol, already on my second unit, gonna try once more because there is no alternative atm

I just bought mine this morning from the Microsoft store online because of the following:
1. 10% off student discount
2. Free 3 day (expedited) delivery.
3. I also got the 256gb version (~$200 cheaper) will upgrade later to 1TB+

Not bad at all. Was thinking about Amazon due to their warranty. I will have to make a trip to my local Microsoft store and grill them on the warranty.

 

I may pull the trigger on the Microsoft Store.
I am noticing they are on sale 200-400 less than other retailers.
My only concern is Coil Whine...and how quickly i can get a replacement or a refund.
Amazon warranty at 4 years is attractive though.
