I just picked up a 2014 Blade, and I want to find an ideal backpack to protect my investment. I've tried everything available at fry's and the apple store, but none of their options have particularly good padding, or a good fit for a 14". Honestly, I'd prefer something with a half inch of padding on all sides and a tight fit for the Blade, but I doubt that exists.

The best thing I've seen so far is the Swiss Gear bag the apple store sells for a 15" MBP. However, the elastic strap for the top of the laptop compartment is WAY too large for the Blade. I'd need to cut it and sew new velco onto the strap lower down to make it work.

I was also looking at this Kensington pack which looks very nice, but I can't find anywhere in stores to see in person.

Has anyone found any bags or cases that are particularly good on padding and fit? Worst case scenario, I was considering buying the armor case and throwing it in a regular backpack.

I think I will go with the Razer armor case and the AW Orion backpack, or the Thule Gauntlet 13" Attaché... depending on what I decide I will carry with it.

I've now looked at a huge number of backpacks with no real luck. I bought the Kensington Triple Trek. It's ok, but very uncomfortable.

I've also gotten to look at the Brenthaven Metrolite BP-XF. This is the only bag I've ever seen with a solid half inch of padding all around. The straps are not very comfortable though, and the amount of storage space is terrible for it's size. If I could find a bag like this with better straps, I'd be all set.

Has anyone found any good options?
