    Hi everyone,

    I have a 1st Razer Blade 14. I can't live with 256gb anymore ... I need extra space.

I'm looking for extra space, no performance or gaming, just stockage ...

What is the best drive I can get for that 2nd slot ? (Looking for anything above 500gb)

    Thanks

For the 2013 Razer Blade 14 I would say the best available drive is the 1TB Samsung EVO 840 mSATA.

I second that. The Evo 840 is priced competitively, but you'll also find it's one of the best performers as well.

+1 bought the 2.5inch evo ssd for one of my other notebooks, great lineup, price and performance are top notch since samsung manufactures the nand chips that go into 80% of ssd`s anyway they can reserve the best for themselves.

Crucial m500 is also an alternative. Cheaper since its last gen now. Theres the m550, but for pure storage, its not worth the cost.

Is there a new guide for installing a second SSD for the Razer Blade 14 (2013)? The one I found in an older thread no longer has images.

    A second mSATA in a 2013 14" Blade?

No real guide needed. Once you remove the bottom panel you'll see an empty mSATA slot in the center of the motherboard near the battery, complete with the screw needed to hold a new mSATA drive in place.
