So I just unboxed my blade 14 today and plugged it in my wall outlet to charge while i was setting it up. When the battery was full I unplugged it for a bit to move it around the house. However, the second time I plugged it back in, I get a "plugged in, not charging" message when I hover my cursor over the battery icon. I've tried multiple different outlets, even the original, and it just won't charge. Do I have a bum battery? What can I do to fix this? Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Of course the battery is full or near around 96-98% so why would it charge? It can't always charge if you unplugged it at 100% then 3-5 minutes later you can't expect it to say charge when the battery only lost 1-2% since this is a safety feature.

Now if the Ac Adapter is not powering on your laptop and the plugged in icon does not show then you have a more serious problem.

It was not charging outside that zone as well, say for example 40%, but I eventually fixed it by draining the battery and then plugging the adapter back in.

Funny I just had the same thing happen at 90%. Says plugged in not charging. Guess I will drain it as well and see what happens.
