I tried both games. None works

On GTA 4 the Graphic card won't kick in and I'm stuck on discrete.

As for FNV, the game crash after the intro movie.

I pretty much tried anything I thought could help and other forums did not help me.

Well, if you are talking about the new Razer Blade 14", thats the system I own and I just tried both games. GTA IV was giving an error stating that my video card was under the spec and was restricting the use of ANY graphics settings other than the lowest possible. A fix for that is to launch the game with the following launch options; "-nomemrestrict -norestrictions". It will still tell you that your card is under the spec, but will allow you adjust your graphics settings however you would like. Fallout New Vegas ran perfect for me on native res with all settings at max. These were both through Steam, though that shouldn't matter. To your crash after the intro on FNV, I would start with reinstalling the game. Maybe a file got corrupted. Second, I would update your graphics driver, if you haven't already. If you still cant get it to work, I don't know, because it should. Good luck with it and let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for the answer Jeff !

I indeed have the new razer blade. I'll try your tip for GTA.

I just bought fallout 3 and I have the same error message when I try to enter the game that I get with fallout new vegas. My drivers are up to date. So I'm a bit confused.

I'm also running Fallout NV with no problems (at native, max res, but I might add mods, which'll force me to reduce res).

I just bought fallout 3 game of the year edition from steam (summer sales is on now), works when I run it in windows XP service pack 3 compatibility mode after installing "games for windows live" as I had an error "xlive.dll missing". Game works fine now on windows 8.1, RB 14" 2013. Not sure if it would work on the latest Blade though.
