Any issues running the Razer Blade 14 with the lid closed?

I typically use my laptop with the lid closed (when not using it or while watching movies/tv shows). Since the exhaust vents are at the top of the keyboard, are there any issues with closing the lid? Will it overheat? Anyone have any experience with this?

Well, I'm using a 2013 Blade 14, but I have no problem using it with the lid closed. The fans below work pretty good alone.
When watching movies (and plugged via HDMI to my projector) it stays cool (no heat at all), and when playing games (via XBox controller) it heats but not really more than it would have with the lid open. While playing games I would simply advise you to put something below the computer so that there is more space between the fans and the surface (table, floor etc...).

Otherwize just don't close the lid and use it for a while on your bed/sofa as it will heat a lot. Use a hard surface.

I guess it will be the same for the 2014 Blade.

Was wondering the same thing. Hopefully the top vent still has an outlet. People just say the keyboard gets hot, not that the vent is actually located there. The fans on the bottom are intakes so I'd be more concerned about where the blow out is, but I'm sure Razer designed it to blow out the back. If you've ever seen a Macbook Pro, the outlfow at the top is clear whether its opened or closed.
