Pricing for the new Intel 12th-gen and RTX 3070 Ti/3080 Ti Razer Blade Advanced lineup is out and hoo boy. I'll just leave this here.

Yeah Expensive!!! Is it 400 bucks extra price.
I don’t really on 15 but 14 pretty lazy update, still no 32gb option, no 16:10 aspect, most probably no mux in 3500 American dollars, that means in EU close to 4K. The heck are they thinking to compete Apple price by only relying to amd and Nvidia Update? -
Another year, another disappointment
How in the hell, Razer. Like ... At this point I'm certain it's Intel bullying them. There's no reason to not have AMD in their flagships at this point. -

The G15 can go up to the 6900S or a 3080TI. Also has a webcam.

Looks like they won't be out until Summer/Autumn.
Alienware X14 will be out sooner (though from specs at least, I think the G14 looks better).

Perhaps they're being cautious with thermals due to the design. It's always a balancing act.
I had the Blade 14 recently. It's a great size, but is nearly 1.8KG. The Asus G15 is around 1.9KG so I think there's room for the 14 inch laptops to be lighter. If the X14 turns out to be significantly lighter, then the lower performance makes sense.
Obviously, being lighter isn't always desired. I don't want to carry a massive desktop replacement around with me, but I'd take a little extra weight for additional performance in most situations.

Insane pricing. Seems even Razer wants to get in on the GPU scalping

Yeah me too, though back in 2012 I told me I won’t spend over 1K on any laptop, then 2017 2K, now I spent in second half 2021 like 4K, though 2 different type. Can’t hold my wallet seeing new tech
2022 I’ll get ps5 for next 5 years, I’m done with this 6 months tech trend, probably later the year if not sooner they’ll bring 4060 mobile that performs better than 3080ti -
Perhaps I misread the MSI part but nvidia recommended to start laptops with 3070Ti @ 1500 and 3080Ti @ 2500

no wonder PS5 and XSX are in such high demand. PC gaming is now a luxury that many cannot afford. Remember when top end GPUs used to cost $500?Joikansai likes this. -

But yeah $4000 is steep even if you did keep it for many years. Maybe you could find a deal on the out going 3080 model? -
-
Whats the TDP and TGP on the 15 and 17 models anyone know?
-
-
Strange they don't seem to say? They have the spec sheets for all the new machines near the bottom of the page. But not TDP? So much for transparency. -

I don’t think I’ll need new toys for couple months or years, enjoy new toys on emulating things (thanks to notch book that leads me there), there’s over 2000 available titles ps3 that i didn’t play lol. I’ve tons ps3 cds in cellar some are still sealed some maybe “stolen” by nephews .Attached Files:

Ah blade 14 comes this year with mux!! There’s GPU only mode now similar with Blade 15. Damn you why didn’t put it earlier. I don’t care about 1080p camera update but no mux sometimes feel missing something. Nvidia claim on Razer keynote 3070ti performs up to 70% better than previous gen 2070 super, that’s a lot, or did I hear wrong with 17%

I mean, realistically, how much better will the 3080ti be than the 11th gen models on the 15”? I ended up getting a 3070 model because the 3080 gave barely any performance increase due to the heat.
love the idea of a 12th gen 3080ti ddr5 laptop, but honestly not sure if the gains over my 2021 model would be worth the price of entry.HWI likes this. -

Razer laptops have a great vapour chamber to spread the heat out but nowhere to dump the heat due to the small heatsink area. -
The price gap if I didn’t get 3080 because of €500 price gap (to 3070) with 16gb vram I’d go because those titles are playable on 3070 1440p ultra setting only bottlenecked by vram. But with 900 bucks price difference (3070ti to 3080ti 14) probably no. -

I’d like to know if the new 280W ac adapter is capable of being used with the 2021 models to see if that would give us some additional power to mess around with.
