Has anyone played dota2 on 2014 blade?
I played at 3200x1800 and fps is only around 35.
pretty sure the 870m is running.

Sounds about right. I played a match at native before changing to a lower resolution.

I play at 2048x1152 - in DOTA 2, fps is very important for timing - need the 60 fps.

but when I change to 2048x1052 in the all pick step everything seems too big and I can only see one hero

Never ran into this issue - you might be getting the windows scaling problems that crop up though.

I ran my whole laptop at 2048 x 1152 - it solved all gaming issues I had, and the text and images are still crisp.
