    Hey there gang,

I've had a strange occurrence taking place in the last two months...

About 6 weeks ago I found that one of the bottom panel screws on my 2014 Blade was missing. As my Blade is still under warranty, I've never even attempted to open the case, so I found this strange, but just tossed it up to chance.

So I reached out to Razer Systems Support, who BTW has always been awesome with me both on the phone and over email, and they quickly sent me a replacement screw after verifying my serial # and proof of purchase.

Cool, put the new screw in, no prob.

4 weeks later, I'm sliding my Blade into its protective sleeve before I hit the road, and I notice an open screw hole. I thought it was the same rear screw that went missing so mysteriously weeks prior, but after double checking the pictures I sent to Razer I found it was a different one (front one this time)! So Strange!

This has not affected my machine in any way, but just wanted to see if any Blade owners have experienced this strange occurrence? Any thoughts on why it could be happening?

I'll be reaching out to Razer Support again for another screw!

Is your machine being shaken or vibrating a lot for some reason? Maybe there was just not enough lock-tite to hold them in right.

No unusual amount of vibrating in any of my uses. It commutes with me regularly, but is not subject to extreme or regular vibration of any sort that would be different than being carried in a protective sleeve, within a backpack.

    Same problem here,

Suddenly one screw, on of the the middle ones, dissapeared. I am out of warranty though.

    Strange right?!?

I haven't looked around, but I'm sure these screws can be purchased quite easily (and inexpensive) online. So it's a quick fix. But still weird!

    yes its weird.
The only explanation i have is that i tend to play finder drumming on the palmrest part of the blade.
Maybe those vibration made the screw go out. Still, that should not happen for a laptop that sells quality.
