    The 20% discount offer is back. It is only for the Razer Blade 2013 and does not include the RBP, RBP 2014, or RB 2014.

    Only K-12 and higher education students are eligible to purchase from the Razer Education discount program.

    Not a bad deal since it take $400 off the 256gb model. I wonder how long until they open up the education discount for the new blade.

    I considered it this morning but man, I just don't think that makes up for the subpar screen that everyone complains about =/

    Honestly I think it was worth full price, so 20% off is awesome. I never had major issues with the screen on the 2013, but if you think you will then you better wait and get the 2014.

    @dajohu,

    How are you idle and load temps for both your CPU and GPU on the old model?

    I've seen reviews saying 90*C which is too much for my linking

    I didn't monitor it extensively, I just checked it a few times after I first got it to make sure it was ok. Don't quote me, but idle temps were maybe 50s CPU and 60s GPS. I think the CPU and GPU got to the upper 80s after gaming for a while. Maybe someone could check theirs, since I just sold mine today.

    While I think they are a little warm, it never got hot under my hands (only up on that metal strip between Fn keys and hinge). You have to keep in mind its an ultrathin gaming laptop. Words that usually aren't found together. I'd take a little extra heat over the thick/loud/heavier gaming laptops I've had in the past.
