Does anyone else have that issue? I had to wipe my harddrive before and I don't want to do it again.

Can't you just restore or use recovery software included in W8 and no I don't have that issue. Hey at least it has a touchscreen so it's not totally messed up.

This happened to mine too. I have had all sorts of bizarre problems when waking from sleep - sometimes it would not come back at all, sometimes the keyboard didn't work. I gave up and am sending it back.

My trackpad worked for about 2 seconds after resuming from sleep yesterday, had to reboot.

The latest update is broken. Do not install it. I had to go back to a restore point to fix it. After the update I had no trackpad function at all but luckily the keyboard worked so I could get to the system restore.

For me it knocked out my Bluetooth. Wiped to factory and it was fine. I am a little Leary about Synapse now.
I still have the issue about not waking from sleep. Guy on tech support told me its a win8. Probably bs. I just try to make sure I shut it down.

I've been trying hard to find cause of sleep and hibernate issues.

I found that with latest Intel and nvidia 337.88 I had both sleep and hibernate issues
I restored to factory, kept factory Intel and installed nvidia 337.88 - sleep then worked fine but hibernate occasionally wouldn't wake.
Finally, I restored again, but put nvidia 337.50 and so far (a day now), no sleep or hibernate issues.

Seems to me to be a glitch in the latest drivers.

The sleep hibernation issues are maddening and make the computer difficult to use. Keep me posted if the workaround works.

Well, just today, with NVidia 337.50 had hibernate resume to the backlit black screen. But I was able to hit the power button to sleep and then once more woke it up. At least it didn't take a cold restart to start up again.

Gah, I was going nuts trying to figure this out. Synapse messed up the keyboard on my Razer Blade 14 too. It would intermittently stop working. Needed a clean install of Windows. Uninstall of Synapse didn't fix the issue. Thankfully it has only been more or less a clean install anyhow. No Synapse for me.
