    Good afternoon,

I'm releasing my personal BIOS mod to anybody that finds this useful. I've unlocked several menus in the 2.02 BIOS that is available for the Razer Blade Pro 2017 7700HQ / GTX 1060 codename "F2.5". This unlocked BIOS is built off the stock 2.02 BIOS from the Razer website that includes the updated spectre/meltdown microcode updates. I've included AMIBCP to allow you to explore BIOS tinkering as well. Obligatory disclosure: I take no responsibility if you manage to screw up and brick your system. These files are released as is, flash at your own risk. These files are ONLY FOR THE 2017 RAZER BLADE PRO WITH 7700HQ/GTX1060 SYSTEM, NOT FOR THE 7820HK/GTX1080!!!!

    Pre-requisites to flashing:
    1. Make sure your battery is fully charged
    2. Make sure your AC adapter is connected
    3. Close all other applications that are running
    4. Ensure you are already on BIOS 2.02 (download and install from Razer Website first)

    Directions to flash:
    1. Unzip RBP Modding Tools.zip
    2. In the unzipped directory, find AfuWin64 folder
    3. Open AFUWINGUIx64.EXE
    4. In the application, save your original BIOS just in case by clicking the "save" button
    5. After saving original BIOS in a safe place, press the "open" button at point it towards the file called "rbp_spec_melt_patched_unlocked.rom" , press flash, and allow it to flash. Do NOT touch anything until all the blocks are green, and the exit button becomes enabled.

Congrats, your Razer Blade Pro just became more advanced. I disable ASPM in the PEG configuration area to help reduce random throttling on the GPU, and also use the overclocking menu to install permanent undervolt values for the CPU and Intel HD 630 GPU. Enjoy.

    Nice work raidriar.

Does this open up the cpu under volt option like on the 14” blade modded bios?

Hate having to keep re-applying xtu undervolt, it was so much easier on the 14, set in bios and forget!

Yes, I have my undervolt set to -160 on the CPU and -165 on the GPU

A word of caution, if you're dual booting or thinking of using LiveCD make sure you set undervolting in OS using XTU/TS because some Linux kernel or OS X can cause kernel out of nowhere even if your undervolt is stable for 24/7. If you don't use Dual OS do everything in BIOS and enjoy the modded BIOS w/o any limits.

Thanks for the heads up but my days of dual booting are gone. I just use a vm these days to save the hassle of rebooting.

Installed this bios earlier and applied my undervolt, all working perfectly. Thanks again raidriar
