Hi there
I'm fairly sure the answer to this is going to be a no but I thought I'd ask anyway.
Can I upgrade the RAM, Sound card or Graphics card or for that matter any of the hardware in a Packard Bell Easynote E6310 notebook.
I know you can't upgrade the Graphics/Sound Cards in the same way as a normal desktop PC but I'm wondering if they could be done by opening the notebook up and replacing what's there?
Thanx in advance for any help/advice

If you would have read the stickies that say "everything you want to know about upgrading your gpu", u would've found out that you cannot.
About the sound card, that's also on the motherboard, so you can't replace it. What you can do is get a pcmcia or usb sound card and use that instead of the internal one.
Memory is the easiest thing to upgrade on a laptop.
So unless you want to spend more than the laptop itself in swapping out the motherboard (which is also 99.9% impossible) then that will be ur only chance on getting a different gpu in there. -
Thanks for the advice, I was fairly sure about the GPU answer being no, didn't know I could get a USB sound card. -
welcome to the forums
the general rule is that if the upgrade is more than 1/4 or more than the cost of your laptop you are better off to buying a new system
rather than dropping your money on the old one
also things to consider is how old is your laptop and your needs
