I have broken the DC input to the laptop. I can get a new one and its just a solder job but I cannot get the case and keyboard apart. I have taken every screw known to mankind out. I have tried to push the keyboard tabs in to remove the keyboard but there is still something holding it together in the middle. I could throw the thing out of the window in frustration.

Has any genius got any ideas or in fact disasembled one before. I must add I am not a novice so this is really annoying.

    Thanks in advance

I know its an old post but i can tell you this keyboard is infact GLUED in - getting it out without bending it is not easy. Even harder is getting it to clip back in at the top with even the slightest of bend or warp. The price of a new keyboard is a joke also so be extra extra careful anyone attempting this.
