    winxp and sound drivers?

    Hi everyone, I just installed windows Xp again and... to my strange suprise the soundcard driver wont recognize the soundcard or something.. driver installs fine, but never really find the card so after reboot, still no sound.

    Anyone experienced this before?

    Edit: I found the error myself.. it was the version of Service pack 3 i had installed, it made windows update fail to install and new hardware fail aswell. ill try out microsofts winupdate version later when its all installed...

    I think you need to install the HDA bus driver which is on the Zepto FTP site. Maybe you will need to reinstall the Realtek driver once you have installed the HDA driver.

    well the thing is everything works as supposed when I uninstalled the sp3 build again.. But im going to install the newest build later today after installing all drivers and such.

    (newest build: RC2 6.0.2900.3311)

    D4005, it's not officially out yet, so any problems that might arise with it is not supported at current time.
