    hi folks.
just wondering if anyone knows , what the annoying noise in my zepto 6214 could be.
it's like an.. electric pulse or something not very loud, but loud enough to hear when i'm in a quiet room.it's comin from the left side , where the cpu is. It's not the fan, HD, cd-rom. i've checked
the only time it stops is just after i've pressed the power off button and windows is closing down.
i've recorded the noise with my internal mic , so if anyone is interested and wants to have a listen, let me know :)

pretty sure i read somewhere that many CPUs emit a high pitched "whine" when in power saving mode, if this is the case then theres nothing you can do about it (i think) and its nothing to worry about

It's the Intel CPU's making the noise. There's nothing we or any other PC manufaturer can do about it unfortunately as we've contacted Intel about it and it's quite normal with the new high performance mobile CPU's they say.
