Can somebody give me some advice pls. I REALLY like the Averatec 1000, it's like a SonyT series, but half price. Seems ideal for travel. I don't do gaming or other processor hungry stuff so I'm quite happy with ulv Pentium M 1.1. and I love wxga 10.6'

The problem is, where to buy in the Netherlands??
I can buy it in Germany, but it has a German keyboard, not good for me as a touch typist.

Any US (or UK) electronic retailers that sell abroad?

As far as I know, in North America, only CompUSA sells it. Why don't you check out www.averatec.com?

Not much use, Averatec.com, I already checked that out. It's really frustrating. Emailing them isn't any help either. It's really the laptop I want (other than the Sony T250 itself), but...
