    hi I have a quick question for anyone who purchased from portableone

    does portable one tax you and charge you for shipping?
    ( I tried getting it online and gave me total and then asked me for ID/password. - just was comparing the total with other places you know :) )

    My EX had a deal for free shipping, and no Taxes. The store is based in California, so correct me if I am wrong but if you live outside of California and your state government doesn't tax on online purchases you don't get taxed.

    All models sold by P1 (fujitsu and their home brand) come with 2 (or 3 I forget) day free fed-ex shipping. And taxes only apply for CA residents.

    So all you pay is what you see on the configurator.

    Note: they sometimes might offer you some options not available in the configurator if you ask for it!

    No sales tax for non-CA shipping destinations and free FedEx 2-day shipping within the continental US.
