    s-video out

    Hi, im trying to get the s-video out to work on my laptop.
    I've put the s-video in the computer and the other end in the tv, tried the stereo to.

    But i cant get neither sound or video to work.
    Ive checked the video and sound card setttings but cant find anything..

    I'm not sure what graphics card you have, however, normally there is a program that you can use, that came installed with the card, that extends the notebook display onto an external display. If it is an ATI card, then you have to use Catalyst Control to extend it.

    I have the nvidia 7600
    Im at a friend save so i dont have the cd with me.

    Does anyone know if this is the problem, where i can download the software or if its not the problem, how i turn it on.

    Sorry, my faukt, the s-video cable probably cam with the tv-tuner, so the s-video is only an input wire.
    No output!

    Are you talking about the cable or the S-video port in the back of the notebook? Do you have dual monitors enabled in your display properties?
