I was really thinking about getting one alien notebook. Thanx God I read this and all other foruns before!
But now, after looking for other options I'm going crazy.
I need someone to help me to choose.
I decided that I don't want a 17" notebook and that the processor has to be pentium m. It can't be too heavy and has to handle some gaming.

    Or Sager NP 3880

    15'4 TFT WUXGA (1920 x 1200)
    2.0 Ghz Pentium-M 760
    128mb dedicated DDR2 Nvidia 6600

    Lithium battery

Another option would be sager 4880

Both have almost same price in discountlaptops.com . What about image quality, heat generated, etc ?
What about abspc.com, anyone here ever dealt with them?

Did you compare the weight? You mentioned you didn't want anything too heavy.

The Sager NP3880 weighs about 8 pounds where the Asus Z71V (PowerPro A 2:21) has an honest weight of 6.5 pounds.

Also, the standard warranty on the PowerPro A 2:21 (Asus Z71V) is 2-Years Parts and Labor with Next Business Day shipping paid both ways by PowerNotebooks.com.

I was at the LA computer show earlier and saw both laptops there.
They're both pretty nice and both got good viewing angles. the Sager gives you more options on screens, whether u want a glossy WXGA, non glossy WSXGA, etc. The model I saw had a glossy WXGA and it was nice. the camera was average..something comparable to a $30-40 you can find at a store.

The Sager is rather thin but elevated.. it does have taht huge bulky battery, but you wont notice it much since you're not facing it, and the tilt isnt that high.

The Asus Z71V is supposed to have "sparkles"..but when I looked at it.. i couldn't understand what they meant.. I went into MS paint and flooded the screen green, and then had an all white background to see what they meant.. couldn't see what people were talking about.. perhaps if some one told me what to look for, i'd find it..but hey..if i couldnt see it at first, you probably wouldnt care.

i do feel that the sager seemed to be slightly smaller than the two.
