what have your guys delivery times been?
Also what do you guys think about the 2425w with a t7200?
do i need all that, or should I get something cheaper with 2gb of ram instead?

i would be using it for cad, 3d rendering, and gaming. I've aksed this elsehwre but thought I would actually ask on this part.

Also what make the 2425w- multimedia so multimedia? personally I dont see how its done

edit: max is £850 which is my absolute top, i dont need a Os system and how much is p&p?

if there is a choise between slightly higher cpu clock and twice the ram, take the ram it will affect the speed more IMO although with Core 2 duo going for the 4Mb of cache is tamting and is what i have gone for but it has not arrived yet so how effective that is remeins to be seen.

Also multimedia because it has a good gpu.. but not classed as gaming because it is slightly underclocked... also it has a webcam but mainly its just marketing ignor it ;)

You can get 2 Gb of ram the 2Ghz Core 2 Duo the 100Gb 7200rpm Hdd the cool slot in drive + the 9 cell battery, bluetooth + nero (its free might as well take it ;)) For £837 and with delivery that is going to be on or around £850

Uh you forgot the VAT! That more like 1000 gbp for the above set up. But definatly get 2gb of ram. You will notice a far better power boost compared to a slightly faster GPU.

it's really tempting to get the 2425 cause its slightly cheaper but the 6214 does have the "full" graphics card, see other thread about my confusation.

I would take the date from the configurator website add about a week onto it and you have a reasonable guess as to when it will arrive...
